Urgent Order Request
Three fields. A clinician calls you back within fifteen minutes.
Submit the form below for an active case. For after-hours emergencies, dial the 24/7 consultation line at the bottom of this page — a board-certified specialist answers the phone directly.
Operational Reliability
Behind every order request, a clinical supply chain that already knows your case is urgent.
Before You Call
The answers most clinics need before placing a first order.
If your question is not answered here, the 24/7 consultation line at the bottom of this page reaches a DACVECC specialist directly — no intake, no triage queue.
- What are the same-day shipping cutoffs?
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM local time at any of our four regional hubs (Garden Grove CA, Dallas TX, Columbus OH, Atlanta GA) ship same business day on validated 1–6°C cold-chain containers. Orders placed after 2:00 PM ship the following business day. We do not offer overnight delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations — standard refrigerated shipping only.
- Which blood products are available and how are they typed?
- Canine packed red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, and whole blood — all DEA 1.1 typed (positive or negative) with results on every unit label. Feline packed red cells, fresh frozen plasma, and whole blood — typed A, B, or AB with results on every unit label. Our in-house laboratory has completed over 186,000 canine DEA 1.1 and feline A/B/AB typings since 2011.
- How is the cold chain validated in transit?
- Every shipment leaves the hub in a validated insulated container with phase-change coolant. Independent testing confirms internal temperature stays within 1–6°C for 48+ hours, eliminating the leading cause of transfusion product spoilage in transit. A temperature data logger accompanies every shipment and can be returned for a downloadable transit report.
- What does the 24/7 consultation line cover?
- The consultation line is staffed around the clock by board-certified DACVECC emergency specialists and is reserved for active case management — transfusion compatibility questions, crossmatch interpretation, adverse reaction triage, product selection under pressure. It is not the ordering line. For placing or modifying an order, call +1-800-234-7387 or use the form above.
